Master Lock Master Lock - Set-Your-Own Combination Lock , Steel, 1 7/8′ Wide, Assorted This is a strong padlock, seems stronger in construction than the set your own directional lock which was produced by master lock around the same time. I reset this to my own combination and the combo worked for a few weeks while the lock was indoors. I placed this on an outdoor location for two days (freezing temperature about 30 degrees, not damp). I was later unable to open this lock with my combination. Before buying bolt cutters for this lock, I tried various combos that were within one or two letters for my combo and was able to open the lock. The combo had changed by one letter, likely related to temperature. It went from E-T-J to E-T-H. Go figure. I reset the combo and have left the lock indoors, waiting for a less extreme use.

Master Lock 1534D Password Plus Combo Lock in Black , Blue, Red, White, Colors may Vary, 1-Pack (Tools & Home Improvement) Quite possibly the most poorly made lock I have ever owned. I used it on a football field to protect my gear and presumably with one(?) deft blow the whole thing came completely apart. My footballs were all stolen. Thanks for nothing Master Lock .

Master Lock 643D Combination Lock , 1-9/16-Inch (Tools & Home Improvement) This is an excellent combination lock for pool/gym/health club/tennis club dressing room lockers, which is what I ordered it for. You don’t need a key for this, so when you’re in a bathing suit or workout sweats, you don’t have to carry the key which could be lost. You can set your favorite 4-digit combination, and be hands-free. Also, the combination is extremely easy to set, and it doesn’t malfunction and lose the setting easily. And this model is much heftier and solid than the classic clunky Master round combination lock, which is still notorious for being so easy to break. Master Lock 1534D Password Plus Combo Lock in Black, Blue, Red, White, Colors may Vary, 1-Pack (Tools & Home Improvement) I have to agree with several other reviews here that this lock is a dud. Yes, the lure of creating your own password is strong, but don’t be fooled. Once set, the lock was difficult to both lock and unlock (as one other poster stated) and after a few weeks, I couldn’t open the lock at all. Thankfully another post here suggested clipping the dials off. I did just that, took off the plastic, lined up the red marks and still had to bang it open with the end of my pliers. If even I was able to bust the lock open, clearly it’s not very secure. I should have read these reviews before my purchase but at least they helped me get the thing off my shed once it became stuck.

Master Lock 653D Set-Your-Own-Combination 2-Inch Padlock, 1-Pack - Colors May Vary (Tools & Home Improvement) Very nice lock, easy to use and works well after a year. I had three of them, and ordering a couple more. They work reliably to lock various plastic cases and bags which is what I use them for.

I wish Amazon they would let you select the color, as we both ended up with Red ones so I had to mark our initial on them so we knew whose was whose.They are very easy to setup and select your personal combination, they are not to clunky. I noticed some folks said they don’t fit on their gym lockers but we have no problem at ours.If your looking for an easy to use combination lock that you can set your own combination, this is one is great, especially for the price.
